So after yesterday’s successful testing of the equipment at Pelham Community Church, today we were back to do test run during an actual worship service. Went very well, the equipment performed well, everything seemed well tied-together. And it mated well to the feed from the church’ sound board, which is critical – nobody is going to listen in if the sound quality isn’t good. The only glitch today was operator error, which prevented me from making a sample recording of the whole service. But we did enough of a sample that we could show the congregation at their annual meeting following the service, and following a good question-and-answer period, the congregation voted in favour of moving forward with participation in the project. All in all, a very worthwhile weekend of effort for the project!
Here are some pictures of our test-run setup this morning:
Good luck with this program. Its a unique way to reach people.
